Please join us on Wednesday, October 16 as we celebrate the release of “Scream With Me - The Enduring Legacy of the Misfits - 1977-1983”.
Authors Tom Bejgrowicz & Jeremy Dean along with Misfits archivist Umberto D’Urso will spend the evening with us discussing the origins and design of their new book, participating in a Q&A with our audience and signing copies of the book. They may also have a few surprises up their sleeves, coming to us with some special add-ons that will only be available at their signing events.
In order to guarantee attendance at our event you must purchase the book through our shop and we strongly recommend pre-ordering as capacity and quantities are very limited.
Please note that Books WILL NOT BE SHIPPED. You will pick up your pre-ordered book on the night of the event. Pick-up will begin at 6:30 pm, just prior to the event.
Space will be limited therefore we can only guarantee entry for those who have pre-ordered a book. If copies remain on the day of the event they will be available for purchase at the door on a first-come, first-served basis.
Designed by Tom Beggrowicz & Jeremy Dean the 176 page hardcover features 300 color images and a foreword by Shepard Fairey. “SCREAM WITH ME” is the band’s visual story as told through their iconic and influential album and single art, fan club merchandise, show posters and flyers, buttons, and one-of-a-kind, never-before-seen rarities, culled primarily from the extensive collection of archivist Umberto D’Urso with additional material from Dave Walling and others. The Misfits’ visual legacy has never been documented, compiled, and presented this way before — including rare and never-before-seen photography by Glen E. Friedman, Eerie Von, and more — and the results are a stunning exhibition-style complement to their storied musical catalog.
Further, the book prominently features insightful contributions on the band’s influential legacy from members of Metallica, Pearl Jam, Dropkick Murphys, Quicksand, Refused, Lemonheads, Necros, Agnostic Front, Napalm Death, Sick of it All, Converge, Watain, and many more. For more than 40 years, the band has had an inescapable influence on popular culture and “SCREAM WITH ME” is the ultimate tribute to the original, beloved Misfits era.
